Imago Interiors are looking to grow their team with the appointment of a Senior Designer. This is a hugely exciting role and will suit an individual who has a strong work ethic and can thrive as part of a team whilst also working on their own initiative to meet objectives and deadlines.

They will need to be client facing and comfortable in client pitches along with a sound working knowledge of CAD, Photoshop and Sketch up. The ability to express their creativity in client meetings through freehand sketching would also be an advantage.

Senior Designer Responsibilities:


  • Follow the Client Briefing process to ensure the core project objectives of a client are met through strong design planning and offering a quality value driven specification
  • Ensure all pre-con design output, specifically focusing on CAD drawings and Sketch Up drawings are sufficiently detailed and accurate
  • Liaise with and support the Technical Design resource with project specific details to enable them to complete accurate and timely Construction Working Drawings
  • Ensure all design output offers a relevant and concise response to our clients brief and requirements and demonstrate a commercially viable, value added solution
  • Ensure design output is punctual, accurate and detailed
  • Constantly look to evaluate our supply partners and identify new and innovative products for considerations on projects
  • Ensure you are aware of and up to speed on the latest workplace trends and topics
  • Ensure the project meets its deadlines.

Senior Designer Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in design
  • 5+ years’ experience as Senior Designer or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of fit-out
  • Proficient in using CAD software
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines whilst maintaining quality
  • Skilled at multitasking across multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for on-site challenges
  • Understanding of collaborating with other specialties, like M&E and joinery
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Deadline-driven and committed to quality
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational/time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
